Music is my passion and my savior.   In my 20's I bought my first guitar and learned myself some chords.  I've spend quite some time singing, playing and recording myself,  working hard on my skills.

I ended up in a band with 4 lead-singers, that made me start playing percussion in the songs of others.  It started with Egg-shakers and from there I collected all kinds of percussion instruments. With Jan as my teacher I grew into percussion pretty fast. The Tambourin and especially the Bongo's are my favorite percussion instruments.

Right after a trip to New Orleans I bought my first Trombone. April 2015 we were In The Big Easy and there  I saw a young woman "Haruka Kikuchi" playing so gifted on the Trombone, it went straight to my heart. The penny dropped and suddenly I was thinking "This big brass instrument might suit me".  And it does, I really love playing Trombone.  I love the sound of the Trombone, It feels great to play,  even though I'm still just a rookie.

My father is a guitarist, he helped me when I bought my first guitar.   I'm too much of a singer to really grow into guitar playing.  Though I still love playing freestyle.  I love to pick out some random chords and some  lyric lines I wrote myself, and just start playing and singing. That's something I really love to do. This habit helps me a lot now we are writing songs with LeT.

At "Far From The Rat Race"  for the first time we recorded acoustic guitar from my hand in "Mountain Trail",   the guys told me since I was the one who came up with this song, written on guitar,  I should also play guitar on the new album.

My list of idols is pretty long. But some play a bigger roll of influence than others. That'll will be:

Bonnie Raitt, Lori McKenna, Joan Osborne, John Hiatt, Ilse DeLange, Floor Jansen & Charlotte Wessels, I've sang along with these singers a lot.
